Friday dress parade canceled

The first military dress parade of the academic year has been canceled.

Instead cadets will hold practice parade at 3:45 p.m. Rain earlier this week forced the cancellation of practice parade.

The change was sparked by this week’s heavy rainfall, which has left Summerall Field too soggy and unusable for normal drill periods.

The public is still welcome to visit campus and observe drill.

The next parade is Sept. 2.
