2016 Leadership Day

We are very excited to announce that Leadership Day this year will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2016!

FRESHMEN

  • All freshmen will participate in the SHARE Project (School Heroism Activity for Remembrance and Engagement).
  • Freshmen will form up in their company areas at 0815 on 19 October.
  • Uniform is seasonal leave.
  • Bring your Driver’s License.
  • Sophomore team leaders will take charge and provide direction.
     

SOPHOMORES

Sophomores will serve as team leaders for the SHARE Project OR participate with a Krause Service Team at one of 25 sites.

  • Service team CICs will report to Buyer Auditorium at 0720 on 19 October.
  • All morning and full day service teams will report to Buyer by 0730 on 19 October (some exceptions apply; students should check Givepulse for their exact team info).
  • SHARE Team Leaders will report to 2nd Battalion Pad at 0800 on 19 October.
  • Afternoon service teams report to Buyer at 1215 (after lunch in Coward Hall).
  • Uniform is seasonal leave for SHARE and Assoc. for the Blind, all others are ACUs & LD t-shirt.
     

JUNIORS

  • All juniors will participate in LDRS 311, the Moral Courage Seminar.
  • Juniors will depart Battalions at 0745 to be seated in MFH by 0755 where Col Tom Clark will speak at 0800.
  • At the conclusion of this presentation, juniors report to assigned seminar locations.
  • LDRS 311 instructors and room locations should be on course schedule (Banner). 
  • Uniform is duty.
     

SENIORS

  • Seniors will complete LDRS 411, the Senior Leadership Integration Seminar, at one of 20 locations on and off campus.
  • Transportation is via cadet carpool, Citadel van or bus (drivers may need permission to gas up their vehicles prior to LD).
  • Students check e-mail for their seminar specific details.
  • Uniform is Blazer.
     

ALL 2315 cadets in the SCCC must participate in a Leadership Day activity. If a cadet is not assigned to a Leadership Day activity, the cadet must report to the Krause Center ASAP.
