Club Events: Fall, 2009
Movie Night Fundraiser – On October 7th, German Club hosted a “Knobby Movie Night”. Inspired by September’s Oktoberfest in celebrations in München, the club screened “Beerfest” and turned a tidy profit with pizza sales. Funds raised benefit future club activities. Many thanks to the members who helped plan, set-up and clean-up for the event!
Fall Picnic – On Sunday, October 4th, Dr. Skow hosted club members at her home. Students feasted on burgers and brats and specialties from the German speaking lands: Schwäbische Kartoffelsalat, Apfelstrudel and Zwetschkuchen (plum cake).
Movie Night – On September 13th, Club members met for pizza and a German film.
