Leadership through the Corps

Training begins the first year, the Knob year, with lessons in follwership. By living in the barracks and following a regimented schedule, you will learn about attention to detail, respect, time management, and discipline. You will learn to live by the Honor Code, a Citadel hallmark. Your first year will be tough but ultimately rewarding, especially on Recognition Day when you formally join the Corps of Cadets.

The Citadel is one of the only colleges nation-wide to offer ROTC courses in - and accept scholarships from - all the major service branches: Army, Air Force, Navy/Marine Corps.
