Cadet access to barracks during evacuation period

Cadets who need access to the barracks to retrieve books or personal items should go by Public Safety or call their office at 953-5114 during the time the barracks are closed. The barracks will remain closed until further notice. However, cadets as well as faculty and staff are reminded to check the web site and DAWG line (843-953-3294) frequently for updated information and a possible change in instructions.

All classes on Monday and Tuesday (including CGPS classes) have been cancelled and will be made up at a later date.

Cadets who left campus on a weekend should not return until instructed to do so. Those instructions will be communicated on The Citadel's web site and the DAWG line.

All Citadel staff are expected to report on Monday as usual. Faculty are not expected to report on Monday or Tuesday.

Campus residents should follow directions issued by Charleston County Emergency Operations Center in preparations for Hurricane Ophelia.
