Email your name and number of people in your party to

You do not have to RSVP to attend Parents' Weekend. RSVP only if you plan to come to the drop in.

Parents' Weekend is an exciting time for all members of The Citadel family. It's an extra special time for knobs' parents, who get to see their sons and daughters perhaps for the first time since dropping them off in August.

To welcome the parents of freshman to The Citadel family, join us anytime between 1 and 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14 at the Holliday Alumni Center on Hagood Avenue across from the football stadium.

In addition to light refreshments, members of the faculty and staff will be on hand to answer your questions about The Citadel and knob year and other families of knobs will be there to meet. There also will be a special video and slide presentation.

Unfortunately, due to other commitments, your knob may not be able to join you at this drop-in unless he or she has free time. But after the drop in, walk to Summerall Field to watch him or her and the rest of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets in the Friday military dress parade. It starts at 3:30 p.m.

No tickets are required. We just ask that you RSVP if you plan to come by the drop-in so we can provide adequate refreshments. You do not have to RSVP to attend Parents' Weekend.
